The Lord Howe Island stick bug ONLY exists on teeny-tiny Lord Howe Island. Until recently, no one could get them to reproduce in captivity. The fact that this ugly little thing blorped and slopped its way into the world in this video actually signals a triumph for the entomologists involved in the captive breeding project.
