Dozens of suspected immigrants flee from single vehicle

Jim Wells County, Texas -- An estimated 50 people fled from a suspected immigrant smuggling truck, as a Sheriff's Department car approached in South Texas. The car's dashboard camera caught images of dozens of people fleeing the truck. Chief Deputy Rodrigo Ramon of the Jim Wells County, Texas Sheriff's Department says smuggling immigrants is a very lucrative business. "That's a lot of people and if you put the math to it, $4,500 a person, which is the average going rate, multiply it times 45, that's a lot of money."
