Man nearly chopped in half by reversing lorry


A company has been fined lb12,000 after a customer narrowly escaped being killed by a reversing lorry in Salford. Manchester Magistrates Court heard the man was pinned against a wall at the Eccles warehouse in September of last year while waiting to collect an item. Luckily, the man escaped with only severe bruising. SIG Trading Limited, of James Nasmyth Way, Salford admitted two offences under the Health and Safety at Work Act.
