Bull Elk and Dog at Play ..... or is the Elk Warning the Dog ?

A German Shepherd dog found a new mate in the form of a bull elk, or is the elk defending his ground and letting the dog know who is boss ? Joe Fleck captured the footage recently, and believed the two were playing. He said his dog Clara played with the elk for a good 10 minutes. "We've never seen it before," he said. "We've heard her barking before but this is the first time we looked to see what she was barking at." But is the elk putting on a show to display who is more dominant ? Fleck's wife got out the camera and shot some video of the two animals "They kept running back and forth with each other. It struck me that it was like two dogs playing with each other," said Fleck. Both the Fleck's were sure the animals were at play, not displaying dominant traits. Your call ?
