Police Search for Arsonists - Seven Torched Cars

Police have released CCTV footage following a fire that damaged seven vehicles. Just before midnight on Sunday 4 August 2013, police were patrolling Burnell Street, Russel Lea (a suburb of Sydney) when they located three parked vehicles on fire. Fire & Rescue NSW arrived a short time later and extinguished the cars; however, the fire had already spread to four vehicles parked nearby. All vehicles were unattended at the time and no one was injured. Police from Burwood Local Area Command commenced an investigation into the cause of the fire, which was believed to be suspicious. Detectives have released CCTV footage depicting two men who may be able to assist with inquiries. Both men are described as wearing white hooded jackets and light-coloured long pants. The second man's jacket had a pattern on the front similar to a skeleton. Anyone who knows the identity of either man or has any information that can assist investigators is urged to come forward.
