Philadelphia International Airport Plane Crash Lands!

A US Airline travelling from Philadelphia to Fort Lauderdale had to execute an emergency landing after mechanical problems arose on the front end of the plane, believed to be a landing gear failure or blown tire. Emergency teams responded quickly, and the airport was shut down for safety reasons. Radio Philly reported a front tire burst, causing the plane to land on its nose. None of the 149 passengers or five crew members on board had been injured. After a few hours, three of the airport's four runways were reopened, while the runway where the incident occurred remained closed.
