Idiot Attempts to Break into Police Station to Retrieve Skateboard

A 20-year-old man was arrested after trying to break into the Troutdale Police Department to retrieve his skateboard, after the skateboard was retained by police following his arrest earlier in the day for shoplifting. On Saturday morning, police said, Nathaniel Mirelez was picked up for shoplifting. That afternoon, police said they noticed the door handle at their main entrance was gone. They checked their video surveillance and saw a man try to break in around 2:15 p.m. Eventually the suspect tore a door handle off ( 00:50 ) and then is seen leaving the parking lot while still holding the door handle. Police then identified Mirelez and arrested him Monday morning. When he was arrested, police said he told them he wanted to get his skateboard back.
