A koala invites itself into a home

This is what happens when you leave a door open in this part of Australia! Usually koalas are pretty lazy and hang out in gum trees, but when they are on a crawl, they sure get going! It is not unusual in our neighbourhood to find them in our gum trees, walking into backyards, garages and in this case - inside the house. It is usually the young ones who appear tame and are not frightened of Humans, however they are still wild and must be treated with respect.
