Dog Rescued from Submerged Truck in Swift River Waters

A terrified dog has been rescued from the rear of a truck, after the vehicle rolled into the Chewuch river. The vehicle had rolled into the river from a parking lot next to the river embankment in the Washington town of Winthrop, with the "Jessie" the dog still in the back of the vehicle. Rescuers from the Swiftwater Rescue Team slowly made their way through the rapids in a safety raft towards the stranded pooch, before lifting the dog into the safety raft and safely making their way to shore.
