Croc Attack Footage On Zoo Staff Member Very Lucky Guy

AMATEUR footage has captured the terrifying moment a New South Wales zookeeper was dragged into the water by a huge crocodile during a feeding demonstration. Trent Burton endured a terrifying day at the office yesterday after he was dragged into the water by a huge crocodile during a lunchtime feeding demonstration.Once described on social media as "the Shoalhaven's version of Steve Irwin", Mr Burton was feeding 3.7m monster John when the reptile decided to chomp off a little bit more than he could chew and clamped down on his hand.Shocked zoo visitors watched on during the attack as the experienced wildlife handler was dragged into the water by the hand before he made a very lucky escape.Police and ambulance officers were called to the Shoalhaven Zoo around 12.30pm where they found a shaken Mr Burton, 31, bleeding heavily.Paramedics said his injuries were minor, however he was transported to Shoalhaven district hospital where he remained in a stable condition last night. An ambulance spokesman said doctors were working to establish if the croc had caused any internal damage to Mr Burton's hand. A zoo staff member described the incident as "not serious at all", however witnesses said Mr burton was dragged along the ground and emerged from the water with puncture marks to his lower arm.He was "very adamant" about making no comment on the incident last night and requested hospital staff not put calls through to his room.Last year Australia Zoo, in Beerwah, made world headlines after zookeeper Dave Styles came close to dying when he was mauled by a huge tiger during a feeding show.
