Quadcopter loses battery and begins shutdown over lake

This was the tail end of my second flight with a new DJI Phantom 2. I wasn't paying attention to the LED lights and the copter began to preserve its life by slowly lowering itself to the "ground". Initially I thought the controls had failed then clued into what was going on. I first looked to the canoe to head out to the lake but realized that I didn't have a paddle and the copter was dropping fast. (that is the nice little side step move) I started to enter the water and realized that my keys, phone and wallet were still in my pockets and made an attempt to get them to the beach. iPhone and keys made it, wallet didn't, my daughter, with her acute situational awareness grabbed the wallet. All in all, this was hilarious to me and have had a good laugh. If you are thinking of getting a quadcopter for shooting video, DO IT.
