Crew Footage of the Train that Killed One

The Sound Alone Is Terrifying - Newly released footage captured by a videographer on the set of "Midnight Rider" captures a crew on a train trestle bridge scrambling as they hear the sounds of an approaching train. Startling footage shown at court proceedings shows the late Sarah Jones and other members of the "Midnight Rider" cast and crew scrambling to get out of the way of the locomotive that was speeding toward them. The 27-year-old camera assistant was killed on Feb. 20 on the set of the Gregg Allman biopic in Doctortown, GA. The train was going an estimated 57 miles per hour and would have needed one mile of track to stop the court heard. The hospital bed being used for the shot could not be moved off the tracks in time and became a "deadly weapon," according to the report. The train hit the metal bed, and flying shrapnel from it struck Jones and thrust her into the locomotive. The director of the 'Midnight Rider' movie, Randall Miller, pleaded guilty to involuntary manslaughter and was sentenced to 10 Years Probation
