Dog Sitter Abuses Dog Under Her Care

The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) in Burlingame, CA released footage of a July 30th incident in which the owner of a dog sitting and boarding business is seen roughly jerking a dog by the neck and slamming it to the ground, before proceeding to slap it several times. The footage was filmed by a neighbor and submitted to the PHS/SPCA. Investigators later went to the home and seized 11 dogs, all of whom were returned to their owners with the exception of the three personal dogs of the business owner. The PHS/SPCA released the footage with the hopes of finding the abused dog's owner, and also noted that they believe the footage is sufficient for the business owner to be charged with animal abuse.
