Judging from the quality of the table, the room, and the faint sound of a public address in the background, this is an office, or school. My guess it is a project from an engineering school. So, while it is true that people have strange hobbies, I don't think this is the case here.

That said, this is awesome! Legos have always been one of my favorite toys. My son has a ton of them and loves them. Dad still can kick his but when it comes to building stuff out of them. One day, he will be the master, but until then...I will hold this video as the goal.
