I can relate. When I'm hungry and walk past a restaurant where they are making really good sushi I could almost lick the windows also.
There is no really good sushi where I live. Just mediocre though I did have some really good octopus on Friday.
There's a great sushi place in Budapest, owner is a Japanese guy that was a chef in some famous sushi place in Tokyo. It's funny to see all these Japanese tourists hording there- I mean, you're in Hungary: have some goulash and sausage, not something you eat at home all the time. ;)
As far as the octopus goes, the only way I can eat it is chopped up in the salad- when I see it in one piece it just reminds me too much on some Japanese..hmm..videos.
Japanese DEFINITELY have no respect for octopuses. Or eels for that matter. :P
How did I digress so much from the topic..?
Dinner time birdy!! :)
