nice
Wow...
Thumbs up.
If you think this is nice, you probably didn't see the military exoskeleton prototype video on youtube.
I think this is lame.
@ morhkt:
While Big Dog is cool in its own way, the fact that this enables those paralyzed to be able to function somewhat "normally" again is a huge thing. I think this is pretty awesome, myself.
smooth
(By fear of looking like a big jerk, I'll mention that I was, to a certain extent, joking. I also think it's amazing to allow handicaped people to walk again, plus those exoskeletons are also probably somewhat affordable, unlike that other one.)
OH MY GOD! ISRALEY!? THE TERRORISTS ARE DESIGNING ZOMBIES! THE FUTURE IS NOW! WE'RE ALL GONNA DIE!!
Oh well. Hows your family?
I actually saw a kid wearing something similar to this,he was like 2 years old,but he could walk(even though the the poles were much to long for him).
isn't this nice
now three people are claiming they created the exoskeleton technology for walking.
the military exoskeletons rely on the movements of limbs to activate the respective parts, this isn't possible with a paralyzed person... it appears that this suit uses the arms, the legs following the arms movements with other commands coming from the wrist keypad
Is it just me or would this video have been waaaay cooler with the following musical sound clip, "Rockit" by Herbie Hancock:

Now that's old school.
Very awesome indeed. Didn't they also just come up with a way to eliminate phantom limb through brain surgery? Strange dualism.
I wanna do just one thing...
I wanna race him =]
shame if he gets robbed he can't run after the crook
