After what Bush has done in Iraq, hes lucky that he only got a shoe thrown at him
That guy had a pretty good aim on Bush's head. Bush is quick on his feet.
Notice the people freak out to take pictures, and the hundred people rush in from the back to lock the place dowm?
Two things:
1. I love how bush just dodges it and has a great big smile on his face.
2. Yes, after liberating an entire country from a dictator he certainly is lucky that's all he got thrown at him...
From what I've been told it's a huge insult to have shoes thrown at you in their culture. (Someone can correct me if I'm wrong)
TopMonkey: It's a bit more complicated than that I'm afraid... :/
that was a crazy dodge from bush's ass
bush is like a ninja
Shady waffle your not entirely wrong in the Arabic culture it is an insult to get hit by the sole of a shoe when Saddam fell they hit the statue with the sole of their shoes.
DANG bush has cat-like reflexes.....wonder what they would have done to that guy if it hit him in the face.......

1 000 000 Iraqis have died since the Iraq war began. The only reason that the US is there is for the oil there. The weapons of mass destruction nonsense was just a pathetic excuse for seizing control of the entire country to consume its natural resources.
Its only now that Bush makes peace because he is no longer President.
I wish he would have gotten hit. I'm glad he's not president anymore.
A guy and Kurt he is still the president When Jan. 20 2009 comes then Obama will be sworn in and then President Bush won't be the president everyone thinks Obama is the president. Obama is President-Elect not President.
"just a pathetic excuse for seizing control of the entire country to consume its natural resources"
Yet, we're not doing that. We didn't take over and we will be leaving them with a government of their own that isn't particularly friendly to us. We didn't come in and make it a US territory, which we very well could have and we pay market price for the oil.
You try going 1 month without oil and oil related products. The first thing you would have to do is shut of your computer. Billions would die without oil and its benefits. From gas to plastics it is just about everything we use.
As for the WMD's...

Whatever we did in Iraq, WMD or not, oil or not, I'm glad that Saddam Hussein is dead.
Rebel975, I can't say I am glad he's dead but rather that I'm glad the people are free of him. It's sad that it took his death to make that happen. Freedom had always had a price but people who long to be free have always found that price was worth paying. It sad that people take their liberty for granted.
Well yes, I don't wish death on anyone, but some times the world is better off without someone.
"some times the world is better off without someone" that I can agree with.
