There was an ice age...the planet warmed up and the ice age was gone.
Then there was another ice age...the planet warmed up and the ice age was gone...
Then...well you get the idea. And in case you were wondering...there were no factories, no cars, nada...and yet it happened. It will happen again...
you might have a point there TopMonkey.
You must admit though, the crap we spew into the atmosphere cannot be good for the planet, and those living on it.
Also, the video didnt mention ,much about global warming. It was more about food shortages.
Beef is the most inefficient type of food. It requires massive amounts energy to produce negligible amounts.
To end global hunger and problems, we have to stop eating beef. Especially the meat that comes from fast food chains.
food shortages they say are caused by the global warming. However, in the past, when the earth warms, it has been a boon for mankind and not a disaster. They are short on history and big on hype.
Sorry, I just read, "To end global hunger and problems, we have to stop eating beef."
To end global hunger we have to provide cheap energy to countries that can't currently get it so they can produce enough food to sustain themselves. Most of the starving countries in Africa lack electricity and thus the ability to industrialize agriculture. Subsistence farming is inadequate. To end the problem requires modern techniques, but that can't be done without equipment and the energy needed to run it. Beef, has absolutely nothing to do with the problem. Agricultural advancement and sustainability do.
This video is totally correct. We should eat children from third world countries because cows have it so much better than them. That way they would never starve. The amount of children we would slaughter per day for food, would be less than the amount saved from starvation that day by farming them for ground chuck. Oh, and every major volcanic erruption puts out more of everything we deem harmful into the atmosphere per second than we do in 10 years. We can make a difference. It is .001% of a difference though (and that is erring on the side vainity). Every country sould have the right to use their own natural resources as they feel fit. THE WORLD DOES NOT OWN SOUTH AMERICA, south america does (actually i am likely wrong on that). Oh, and does anybody have the numbers of death caused per year from harvesting rice vs. deaths per year milking cows (you know, that imaginary not beef thing we rely on cows for)?
