Girl Knows a lot of Pi

WHY!?!? This seems uneeded.

or she says i mean you could just sit there and make up numbers as you go and not miny people would tell the difference

Seeing as how we are on the internet and could check to see if she is correct you should not post hypothesis on whether or not you believe her. The fact that I do not want to look for said information also proves that I do not really care how many numbers of pi you know.

Omg wyse, that's the threat that I heard a lot of times throughout my childhood when I misbehaved. Except my parents used to say they'll *give* me to the gypsy which makes it much worse. If they were lucky enough, in the middle of our argument someone would ring a doorbell and they would say: "well there's the old gypsy now..."

Try memorizing something important, like all of your subjects in school. I mean, I can never remember all of my vocab for a test, but she has enough time to memorize 2000 digits of Pi.

There was a savant on the science channel once. He could do intense calculations in his head really fast, and he recited pi to the 26,500th number without making a mistake just by calculating it in his head, it took him almost 11 hours.

I know of this threat because that's what my mother's parents threatened her with. I guess it's a European thing.

European, and obviously timeless.
I'm gonna be the one to stop the chain of gypsy threats in my family.
(though putting the controversy aside, those were extremely effective)

It didn't work on my mother. She had a problem with authority in her youth. They told her not to go in the woods, lest the Gypsies kidnap her, but it only emboldened her to go in the woods more often.

there are competitions, the world record is currently at around 100,000 give or take. 2000 isnt really all that impressive when you think about it that way xD

This is a person who really needs to get a better hobby. Reading, maybe... Going outside once in a while... Recreational suicide...

At my school there's Pi day, and for every ten digits you know, you get a piece of pie. She would've just earned 50, and if what she says is true, could earn 200 pieces. :D

There's nothing impressive about this. She's just got it written on the inside of her eyelids.

It's actually harder to make up numbers that fast in no particular order than to memorize that much. Just try it.. You end up saying a bunch of odd and even numbers consecutively, at best.
This isn't very useful, but still cool. Do not be hating, you all.
