The bridge was built so the troll would have a place to live. But he's no longer there because all the trolls of this world have take up residence on teh internet.
No the goats can cross the bridge in peace without being eaten by the troll.

Goats are natural climbers, they walk on challenging cliffs and mountains. This bridge for the goats must be like a monkey gym for monkeys.
