Tourist Films Moms Arrest At Niagara Falls


Authorities say an upstate New York woman has been charged with child endangerment after witnesses told police she took her daughter for a swim in the dangerous waters at the base of Niagara Falls. Police at Niagara Falls State Park say Jaime Lynn Bailey of Trumansburg was charged Wednesday evening after she took her daughter to an off-limits area at the base of the American side of the Falls. Police say Bailey, the girl and two men had climbed over a stone wall to get to the restricted, boulder-strewn area, where witnesses reported seeing them in the water. Bailey was charged with endangering the welfare of the child, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. She posted bail and was released. A message left at her home Friday morning wasnapos;t immediately returned.
